Please join the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA) PTAB Committee on October 17th for a discussion regarding IPR estoppel.
In this interactive meeting hosted by Co-Chairs Charley Macedo and Ken Adamo, the NYIPLA PTAB Committee welcomes our distinguished featured guests - Jeffrey I. D. Lewis, and Cecilia G. Copperman of Foley Hoag LLP. IPR estoppel, as set out in 35 U.S.C. § 315(e), was designed to be straightforward, but it has encountered various interpretations, applications, and constraints as construed in litigations. The panel will analyze how courts have interpreted and developed this provision and perhaps even anticipate its future trajectory in legal proceedings.
Speakers:
Jeffrey I. D. Lewis, Partner, Foley Hoag LLP
Cecilia G. Copperman, Associate, Foley Hoag LLP
There will be a Q&A session afterward. This event is free to all NYIPLA members and PTAB Committee members. 1.0 NY/NJ CLE credit will be available for attendees.
Please remember to re-register for the NYIPLA and PTAB Committee if you have not yet done so in the new year to continue to participate at no additional cost in the PTAB Committee CLE program on the third Tuesday of every month, at 4:00 p.m. ET
